Our experienced team design and manufacture changeparts for all rinsing, filling,
capping and labelling machines, etc. All parts are manufactured in-house to the highest degree of excellence and accuracy, including all metalwork and feedworm fittings.
The material we use for our changeparts is Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (U.H.M.W.P.) which can be supplied in a variety of colours.
All our feedworms are produced on purpose built CNC machines using a dedicated
program written especially for us. This allows us to manufacture feedworms with
true acceleration, giving smoother container handling.
Years of experience enable us to not only produce feedworms for round containers but also for many obscure profile containers. We can produce pause worms, combiner worms, transfer worms and orientation worms (used extensively in the multi-packaging industry).
We use the most up to date and versatile systems available and have developed our own programs which enable us to simulate bottle movement from feedworm to
starwheel and from starwheel to starwheel. As
a result of this we are able to design a starwheel pocket to give maximum container control and the smoothest possible handling.
Every single bottle that we design a set of changeparts for has its own unique
specification and as a consequence each bottle has its own individual shaped starwheel pocket to suit. No matter how awkward the shape of the container, we are able to handle it successfully.
To carry forward the accuracy of the CAD drawings through to the finished article we have a bespoke programme to translate drawings into CNC machine code direct from the layout on the screen.
